India: Tracker Dog Helps Police Catch 3 Men That Were Behind Blind Murder Case
Ghaziabad, India: The Ghaziabad police announced on Thursday this week that they have solved a murder case with the help of a 2 year and 6-month old tracker dog.

Leena, the dog, was trained at the Indo Tibet Border Police training institute in Panchkula.
The dog gave the police a crucial clue that allowed them to solve the case.
3 suspects were arrested by the police in the case.

Leena was presented with a velvet bed, a new leather strap, and Rs. 10,000, said Ghaziabad SSP Kalanidhi Naithani.
The Crime
On May 31, 2020, Vivek, who is from the Kushaliya village, went to work, however, he did not return back home.
His dead body was found in a field on June 1, 2020.
Rajendra Singh, the father of Vivek, lodged a complaint in this regard at the Masuri Police Station.
On the morning of Thursday, the police took Leena, a female tracker dog, to the place where the body of Vivek was found.
Leena sniffed around for a while and then led the police team to a spot near the house of the suspects, where they used to sit.
After getting a crucial clue from Leena, the police roped in an informant, which led them to the arrest of the 3 men.
Authorities arrested Mohsin, Adil, and Salman, who have confessed the crime.
The 3 men told the police that the motorcycle of Vivek collided with their car, which lead to a heated argument between them 2.
In a rage, the 3 men killed Vivek and later dumped his body.
They also took the motorcycle and mobile phone of Vivek after killing him.
