Indian Coronavirus Patient Forced To Walk To Local Hospital After Authorities Denied Ambulance

Dombivili, Maharashtra: A local resident was forced to walk over 2 kilometers so he could reach a hospital on Thursday after authorities denied to send him an ambulance.

The man was diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

After repeated calls to the hospital, the patient was told that no ambulance was available and that he had to come to their hospital by himself.

The man was assisted by local residents so he could reach the hospital and get treatment.

Around 5 people assisted the patient to make sure he can safely reach the hospital as he was reportedly ill.

Not only that, but the 5 people that were accompanying the man to the local hospital also said that the authorities at the hospital forced him to wait outside the hospital for 3 hours.

Thane, which is located near Mumbai, India, is a hotspot of the coronavirus.

Thane has around confirmed over 4,600 cases and around 151 deaths.

Maharashtra is the worst coronavirus-hit state in India.

Maharashtra has confirmed 44,582 cases of the coronavirus.

According to official numbers, around 1517 people have died from the disease.

Only 12,583 people have recovered from the virus.
