Indian Man Who Failed To Buy Alcohol During Lockdown Drinks Hand Sanitizer, Ends Up Dead
A 35-year-old Indian man that failed to buy alcohol beverage passed away after he was forced to drink hand sanitizers.
The man, who has been identified as E Bernard, died on Saturday after consuming hand sanitizer in his house.
The incident happened in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
According to the police, 35-year-old Bernard was found unconscious at his house on Saturday after which he was rushed to a hospital.
The doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
This is not the first time such extreme measures have happened in the country.

In a similar event, a man from Kayamkulam killed himself after he consumed shaving lotion due to the unavailability of alcohol.
