An Indian woman was found dead with her head smashed in connection with the murder of a middle-aged woman in Greater Noida.

The 49-year-old woman was found dead with her head smashed.

She was found in her flat in Greater Noida West on Thursday.

After the incident came to light, a murder case was registered right away.

Raghav, a friend of the victim, confessed that he committed the crime because of a dispute.

Raghav said the 2 came in contact through an application about 2 years ago and became close friends.

Raghav, the murdered, reportedly started to visit her frequently at her flat.

The police became suspicious about the man after going through the footage from a CCTV installed near the flat of the woman.

Harish Chander, a senior police officer with the Noida Police, said the crime came to light when the son of the 49-year-old woman came to visit his mother but found it locked from outside.

Officer Chander said, “After getting no response from his mother on phone, he broke open the lock to enter the flat. He found her body inside, following which he called police.”
