Noida, India: A 28-year-old man was arrested by the police for killing his 14-month-old daughter during an argument with his wife.

According to the police, the man threw his daughter on the ground, which placed her in a very bad condition.

The 28-year-old man and his 23-year-old wife, who are from Bihar, lived in a JJ colony in Sector 22 of Noida.

Jamshed, the 28-year-old man, worked as a laborer.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida, Ranvijay Singh, released a statement about the incident.

ADC Singh said:

On Thursday afternoon, the couple had a fight during which the man threw their daughter at his wife and she fell on the floor. The child was taken to a local hospital and later referred to Delhi but she died midway.

The mother of the 14-month-old girl that died in the incident registered a complaint at the Sector 24 Police Station.

The man is facing charges under the Indian Penal Code section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).

He has been arrested by the police.

An official investigation has been launched by the police.

They are trying to find out why the man did the horrible act.

The police also said that the man will be sent to jail.
