A 33-year-old woman has filed a complaint against 37-year-old Binoy Vinodini Balakrishnan, the son of Kerala CPM Leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. The woman alleges that she was raped and cheated by the son of the CPM.

The woman said that Binoy Vinodini Balakrishnan assaulted her sexually while promising her that he will marry her.

The woman added that she has a child with Binoy Vinodini Balakrishnan.

Shailesh Pasalwad, a police officer at the Oshiwara Police Station said that the woman claims she met Binoy in Dubai when she was working there as a bar dancer.

She stayed in touch with Binoy for a couple of years, added Officer Pasalwad.

The woman also claims that Binoy visited her frequently at the bar and eventually she got into a relationship with her.

Binoy then told the woman to leave her job in Dubai and told her that he would marry her.

In 2010, Binoy rented out a flat in Andheri for her where he usually visited her and their child.

In 2018, the woman found out that Binoy was already married.

The 33-year-old woman says that she has been threatened to not share the incident with anyone and if she does, she would face consequences.
