In the latest notice from the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) includes the changed and the new allowances for academic staff, teachers, finance officers, registrars and controller of examinations in Central Universities and colleges that is based on the 7th pay commission also known as CPC that came into effect in July 1, 2017. The notice said that it will be “with immediate effect”.

The Government of India approved the proposal on January 15 that extended the CPC to the teachers and the academic staff of the government-aided intuitions in the country will have an additional liability of Rs. 1241 crores.

On January 28, the UGC ordered to improve the honorarium for the guest faculty to be made Rs. 1,500 per lecture and a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month.

Before this the per lecture was Rs. 100 and the maximum was Rs. 25,000,
