Chintamani Police say that Lakshmi, Amaravathi, and Parvathamma were arrested on Tuesday, as they were connected in the Karnataka Temple Prasad Poising in a temple at Karnataka’s Chikkaballapura district.

On January 25 The Karnataka Temple Prasad Poisoning led death to two women and a couple of others were hospitalized under food poisoning, all of them were facing diarrhea and constant vomits after taking the Prasad in the Gangamma Temple.

A Police Officer from the Chintamani police station said: “They have been arrested and remanded in judicial custody. They have been charged with IPC Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder). They can be remanded in police custody if required.”
