Directed by Smeep Kang and starting Gippy Garewal and Binnu Dhillon Carry on Jatta 2 is an outstanding movie which doesn’t disappoint at all.

It has been six years since Carry on Jatta was released which is a long time for a sequel to come out, however just like the first part the movie doesn’t fail to leave audience dying laughing.

 

 

The story revolved around a guy who wants to go to Canada and named Jass(Gippy Garewal) however he is an orphan and doesn’t have a family, and the girl he falls for was an NRI, but the only problem was she wanted to marry a guy with a big family.

 

The movie is based on the same concept as first part the only difference is in the early part the girl wanted to marry a guy with no family and in this part girl wants to marry a guy with a big family.

 

 

The easiest way to go abroad for Jass(Gippy Garewal) was through marrying an NRI girl which he found whose name was Meet. The only problem was she wanted a big family and Jass is an orphan.

 

Now to con Meet Jass set up his own family which causes a lot of confusion and tones of the situation which is correctly set up for unpredictable dialogues and the struggle to keep everything together is so well done.

 

 

There are a lot of movies which has used this concept as their plot. However, Carry On Jatta does it the best and is even better than its prequel.

 

Though it took six years for the movie to release after its 1st part the wait was worth it. There is a saying sequel never better than prequel which Carry On Jatta 2 has proved wrong.

 

 

It has been awarded 74 /5 stars on Times of India and 3 /5 on Hindustan Times.

 

Before the release of the movie lead actor had said: “Last time, we had punch after punch to make the audience laugh, but this time we have tried the script to be woven in a manner that the audience will break into laughter even during the pause.”
