Asteroid Larger Than London Bridge Set To Pass Through Earth’s Orbit On September 17

NASA said that an asteroid that is larger than the London Bridge will be passing through the orbit of Earth on September 17, 2020.

The asteroid, which has the official name of Asteroid 2014 QJ33, will be passing through our planet’s orbit on September 17, 2020.

It is expected to get past our planet safely without it entering our orbit or hitting anything, which could be catastrophic and fatal.

The asteroid is an Apollo class asteroid, which means that it will pass by through our orbit.

The huge asteroid is closely monitored by NASA as it is considered as a NEO (Near Earth Object), which could be extremely harmful if it decides to enter our orbit.

The Asteroid 2014 QJ33 will be 6.67 lunar units away from us. If you convert that in miles, that will be around 1,592,819 miles.

It’s pretty far, but we still need to closely monitor it in order to make sure that everything will be alright.

NASA said that Asteroid 2014 QJ33 is around 48 to 119 meters wide. To compare that in a human size, the London Bridge is 104 meters wide.

It is a very huge rock and to top that off, it is traveling at the speed of 8.66 kilometers per second, or 19,371 miles per hour.
