West Bengal’s Kalimpong, a paraglider snapped in the middle of the air, the pilot was dead and the tourist was injured.

Pilot Purushottam Timsina and rider Gaurav Choudhary had gone off on the flight on Saturday once the incident befell. The glider ride, that took off  from Deolo traveller lodge, was suppose to make a landing at the Ronaldsay Park.

In the 60 seconds video clip, Choudhary seems enjoying the flight the moments before something went wrong with the parachute. The tourist seems lost his conscious, the pilot holds onto Choudhary, right till the instant of impact and will even have protected him from the impact. Choudhary survived with a broken leg, however, Timsina was killed.

Choudhary had been recording the flight journey using a selfie stick and the whole incident was recorded. The video of the heart-wrenching accident was shared on a Facebook page referred to as “I love Siliguri”
