9-Year-Old Boy Charged With Attempted Murder For Stabbing 5-Year-Old Sister
A 9-year-old boy that stabbed his 5-year-old sister while shouting “die, die, die” is facing attempted murder charges.
The 3rd grader 9-year-old boy, who is from Ocala, Florida, was playing inside his room with his little sister on January 27, 2020, when he started to stab his sister.
The mother of the young kids went outside to check the mail when the incident happened.

The mother said when she returned back to the home, she found her son stabbing his sister repeatedly with a kitchen knife.
The woman grabbed the knife from her son and picked up her daughter before calling 911.
The stabbing happened on Monday afternoon at an apartment on Northeast 7th street.
According to the police, the 9-year-old boy told them that he had been thinking about killing his sister for 2 days and that he tried to get it out of his head, but he couldn’t.
According to a report by WESH 2 News, the 9-year-old boy reportedly grabbed his sister by the back of her neck while she was being bent over trying to show him something on the floor.
The boy then started to stab her while shouting “die, die, die.”
When the stabbing started, the mother walked in and the boy fled to a maintenance shed on the property.
The mother called 911 and said “An emergency, emergency. My daughter, my son stabbed my daughter.”
The 5-year-old girl was airlifted to the Shands Hospital in Gainesville with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was alert and responsive at the time when she came to the hospital.
According to the police, the girl is expected to survive the attack.
The 9-year-old boy made his first appearance in court on Tuesday morning and is still in juvenile.
Doctors, lawyers, officials, and the Florida Department of Children and Families are looking into the possible scenarios after the incident happened.
The judge of the court ordered a psychological evaluation for the boy, who will be back in court next week.
The name of the 9-year-old was not released to the public because of his young age.
The next court hearing of the 9-year-old boy is on February 5, 2020.
