20-Year-Old Australian Scuba Diver Killed By Shark After Suffering Horrific Leg Injury
A 20-year-old scuba diver from Australia died after being bitten by a shark on his leg off the coast of Australia, near Indian Head, Fraser Island, Queensland.
The 20-year-old diver, whose identity was not shared with the public, reportedly sustained serious leg injuries.
He died because of significant blood loss as a result of the horrible attack.
Emergency services, which include a doctor and a paramedic, were winched down from a cliff by the RACQ Lifeflight Rescue helicopter to help the man.
The team tried for over 1 hour to save the man, however, he was pronounced dead.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, the injuries of the man were too severe and he had lost a lot of blood.
The dead body of the man will be taken to the mainland with the help of a helicopter.
It will then be handed over to the coroner.
Authorities are also trying to find out which type of shark attacked the 20-year-old scuba diver.
