Beagle Euthanized After Being Skinned Alive By Ruthless Gangsters – Officials Set $8000 Reward For Anyone Who Shares Information About Offenders

A beagle was euthanized after it was skinned alive by a bunch of gangsters in Southwest Missouri. Authorities have also set out an $8,000 reward for any information about the thugs who did the horrible act.

According to Jason Baird, a Lieutenant at the Neosho Police, the skin of the dog was removed from its neck to its tail and down to the top of its legs.

The animal was reported on September 23, after a resident said an injured animal was seen in a wooded area.

The dog was in extreme pain, which led authorities to conclude that it would be better to euthanize it.

Talking to Joplin Globe, Lt. Baird said, “You could just tell it wasn’t doing good.”

He added, “I’ll just leave it at that.”

The dog was left inside a home while its original owner was out of town and may have gotten out through an unsecured door.

Lt. Baird was not in horrible shape when its owner left the town.

Lt. Baird said he doesn’t think anyone broke into the house and thinks that the dog managed to get out.

The city office has provided a picture of the poor dog and is asking for people’s help.

Lt. Baird said, “I don’t know how you couldn’t.”

Authorities launched an investigation in the wooded area where the dog was found with hopes that hey might find something.

But due to heavy rain, any signs of abuse were washed away.

Amanda Good, the director of Humane Society of the United States for Missouri State, said, “It takes a truly callous person to skin a dog alive.”

Amanda added, “And it’s completely heartbreaking to imagine the suffering this dog endured.”

Amanda continued, “We hope that this reward will encourage anyone with information about this terrible crime to come forward, not only to help seek justice for this animal, but also to ensure the safety of the entire community.”

If you have any information about the thugs who did the horrible act, you could call the Neosho Police Department at 417-451-8012 or the Newtown County Sheriff’s Office at 417-451-8300.

Anyone who shares information about the thugs will be getting $8000 USD as a reward.
