Firefighters Battling Massive California Fire Rescue Injured Little Barn Owl

Rescuing wildlife animals is one of the best things that you can do in your life.

While battling a massive fire in Silverado, California, which is located in the United States of America, firefighters ended up rescuing an adorable little fella.

It was reported that firefighters stumbled upon a little barn owl that was in desperate need of help.

A barn owl that had some of their feathers burned was rescued.

The firefighters said that the barn owl was not capable of flying due to the injuries that it had sustained from the fires.

Because the owl had little chance of surviving, rescuers wrapped him in a coat and carried him to safety to make sure that he would survive.

This is what heroes do by the way.

The owl reportedly rested calmly in the arms of the rescuers and was feeling like they were in good hands.

The Orange County Fire Authority confirmed the rescue mission and said that the owl was safe and sound with the animal control.

That’s such great news!

After being in the hands of animal control, the good one was transferred to the Serrano Animal and Birth Hospital.

Doctors said that the injuries the owl got were superficial.

He only damaged his feathers, which by the way will grow back after some time.

The Serrano Animal and Birth Hospital released a statement about the condition of the owl and what their plan is with the animal.

The statement reads:

We will have to hold onto him for a number of months until he molts new feathers. Once he gets new feathers, he will be able to be released.

In the meantime, the owl is showing that their spirit to survive is still strong.

Thanks to the rescue mission, the barn owl will be given a new life and will be taken care of with love during their stay at the bird hospital.
