Firefighters in Germany had to help out an adorable fat rat that got stuck in a manhole cover.

It is reported that firefighters responded to a road in Germany so they could rescue a rat that got stuck in a narrow hole in a manhole cover.

The best thing about this is that everything was caught on cam, which helped us witness the adorable rat.

The Bad Kreuznach Volunteer Fire Department said that firefighters were summoned to the Steubenstr area on Sunday this week when a rat was spotted.

A local saw that an adorable fat rat was stuck in a manhole cover in the middle of the road.

The Bad Kreuznach Volunteer Fire Department said that a firefighter attempted to grab the rat to wriggle off the adorable creature free from the hole, however, the rat ended up biting the finger of the firefighter, which did not go well for the rat because the firefighter was wearing gloves.

With an injury on its mouth, the firefighter had to call in extra help.

The entire crew ended up removing the manhole cover to push the rat out from the bottom of the manhole.

The crew from the Bad Kreuznach Volunteer Fire Department ended up rescuing the rat without causing further harm.

The rat was brought to a veterinary clinic, where it got food and treatment for the injuries that it had received in the unfortunate incident.
