Small gestures matter a lot, for some they don’t mean anything, but for someone that is going through many things, it can mean the world.

Fernando Gabriel and Felipe, his brother, were on their way to go to the subway when a stray dog caught their attention.

As Felipe and his brother went to a subway in Sao Paulo, Brazil, they saw a dog shivering in the cold.

To keep in mind, this was the coldest day of the year.

Gabriel looked on puzzled as he stared at the poor puppy, and without thinking twice, Felipe started to undress.

Recalling the incident, Gabriel said:

I noticed my brother taking his backpack off his back and started filming. He continued. He took off his jacket, sweatshirt and put his shirt on the puppy who was very cold. He did it spontaneously. It was very moving.

The best thing about this is that the entire incident was caught on camera and we get to share it with a huge audience.

Felipe was not expecting anyone to notice that type of kindness, but little did they know that the kind act of his brother would go viral on social media.

The shirt that Felipe removed and gave to the dog was the one that he loved the most, however that was not the case.

Felipe said that the tshirt that he loved the most looked better on the dog.

During their return trip, Felipe and his brother looked for the dog with the intention of taking him home with them.

However, the dog had moved on.

Felipe said that he regrets not being able to do more for that stray dog.

The hero that we deserve says he just wants other people to be inspired from what he did and help other stray animals.
