Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo Welcomes 2 Stunning Snow Leopard Cubs

2 stunning snow leopard cubs are now the highlight of Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo. Their blue eyes and white fur are making everyone go wow.

According to the zoo, the cubs, one male, and one female were born on 22 May 2019, at the Nebraska Zoo.

The cubs, which haven’t been named yet, are currently off-exhibit with their mom, Rosemary.

The zoo is planning to exhibit the trio in the near future.

Pasha, the dad of the cubs, and Rosemary, the mother of the cubs, are currently on exhibit and are accepting congratulation messages from the visitors.

Victoria, the first baby of Pasha and Rosemary, is currently living at the Michigan Zoo.

As of now, there are around 2700 to 3300 snow leopards left in the wild all over the world. Snow leopards are listed in the vulnerable list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List.

Moves like these help conserve the snow leopard population.

Illegal fur trade and the loss of habitat caused the animals to be listed as vulnerable.
