Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, has reportedly spent over $500,000 in importing horses from Russia over the past decade.

The figures were released by Russian customs data.

North Korea previously staged photo ops of the Leader riding a white stallion.

In the year 2019, North Korea reportedly paid $75,509 in importing horses from Russia that were purebred.

The country has a history of buying high-priced horses from Russia.

The newest additions marked North Korea’s largest purchase of Russian horses since the year 2015.

In 2015, the country paid $192,204 for 61 horses.

Russia has imported 138 horses between the year 2010 and 2019 at a cost of $584,302.

Kim was photographed riding a white stallion recently on the snow-covered slopes of the sacred Paektu Mountain in the images that were released last year.

As he rode the horse, Senior North Korean Military officials accompanied him.

The Paektu Mountain has a lot of histories in battles.
