Caught On Cam: Small Airplane Carrying 2 People Crash Lands On Phoenix Street
In a heart-stopping video that is viral right now, you can see a small airplane carrying 2 people crash landing on a street in the North Valley, Phoenix.
Officials are now investigating the case, which happened near Interstate 17 and Deer Valley Road around 8:15 am on December 11, 2019.
Emergency crews were informed about the incident and were rushed to the scene.
CCTV footage shared by the Copper State Metals, a business operating near Interstate 17, shows the plane descending into the neighborhood before skidding onto the asphalt.
The plane crash damaged a number of vehicles, destroyed a street sign, and caused a power pole to spark.
The small plane had wing damage after it came to rest in the middle of the street near 23rd Avenue and Luis Drive.
Inside the plane were 2 people, 1 pilot, and 1 passenger.
One of them was taken to the hospital for evaluation, no serious injuries were reported.
According to a post that was made by the Phoenix Fire Department, the pilot and the passenger were treated and the pilot was transported in stable condition for evaluation at a hospital near the area.

The National Transportation Safety Board is currently probing the emergency landing.
The pilot of the plane reportedly said: “I’m just glad to be alive.”
Details on what caused the plane to crash were not shared with the public.
The FAA is also investigating the case.
