Florida Man Hides Heroin And Fentanyl In Toilet But Forgot To Flush It

Imagine being arrested because you forgot to flush the toilet of your house when the police are raiding it.

Dennis Stover and Alan Banner found themselves jailed in Charlotte County earlier this week after authorities recovered fentanyl and heroin inside a house that they were in.

According to a report by NBC 2 News, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit launched an investigation at a house that was linked to suspected drug activity.

The house is located on Laverne Street and was under observation since February this year.

Deputies detained multiple people that were living in the house until the search was over.

During the search, authorities found around 3.5 grams of heroin and fentanyl in the pocket of 39-year-old Dennis Stover.

When they continued the search, the police busted a locked door and found 41-year-old Alan Benner inside a room with a box that contained 1.34 grams of heroin/fentanyl, a number of plastic bags, over $800 USD, 2 digital scales, a loaded hypodermic syringe, and powder of fentanyl.

Authorities also recovered around 9 grams of heroin/fentanyl from inside the house, which doubles the trafficking amount.
