Kentucky Road Sign Gets Hacked To Display “Send Nudes” Message To Drivers

An electronic sign at the side of a Kentucky captured the attention of drivers with an unusual request, which is to send nudes….

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet confirmed the sign, which is located at the side of Kentucky Route 92 in Whitley County.

It is reported that the sign was hacked on the morning of Thursday (January 9, 2020) by an unknown person.

The sign message was changed to “Send Nudes”.

Authorities said the sign was shut off and was corrected after the new NSFW (Not Safe For Work) message was seen by a worker of the contract company that owns the signage.

Amber Hale, the cabinet spokesperson for District 8, said the sign message was changed by someone on site.

It is believed that the password was bypassed by the hacker, allowing them to change the message to “Send Nudes”.
