A 13-year-old boy has admitted that he stabbed his younger brother to death after he lost in a video game that was being played on a mobile phone.
Alexander reportedly trashed the family home in Dudinka, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Northern Russia, and broke his phone after losing an easy round on a mobile phone.
The 13-year-old confessed to the police that he killed his 7-year-old brother over the fears that he will be telling their mother that he trashed the house.
Olga, the mother of the boys, left the pair sleeping at their house on April 23, 2020, while she took her 6-month-old daughter to the grandparents of the house.
When Alexander woke up and started to play a game on his phone, but became furious after he lost an easy round.
Russian media reports that the teenager started to hit the furniture and turned almost everything upside down before breaking his phone.
After hearing the noise downstairs, the 7-year-old brother woke up and hid from Alexander inside the kitchen.
After finding out that the boy was in the kitchen, Alexander took a knife and stabbed his brother 15 times.
The 7-year-old boy died at the scene.

She could not believe that her 13-year-old son had killed his younger son, so she called the police.
Upon interrogation, the boy confessed to the killing and said explained why he did such a thing.

Another reason was that he was afraid his brother would tell their mother that he had ruined the furniture.
It is said that Alexander, the boy, was a student that performed well.
He is currently being provided with psychological assistance.
