Pakistani Cricketer Asif Ali’s Daughter Has Lost Her Battle Against Cancer

Noor Fatima, the 2-year-old daughter of Asif Ali, a batsman for Pakistan’s Cricket Team, has passed away. The minor was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, Noor passed away inside a hospital in the United States of America.

Asif will be heading back to Pakistan from England.

The Islamabad United, which is the team of Asif Ali in the PSL (Pakistan Super League) released a statement about the incident, the team said, “ISLU family pays its deepest condolences to @AasifAli2018 on the tragic loss of his daughter. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Asif & his family. Asif is a great example of strength & courage. He is an inspiration to us.”

When Asif left the country for England, he tweeted “My daughter is fighting the stage IV cancer and we are taking her to the US for her treatment.”

He also thanked the US Immigration for giving her daughter a visa in just one hour.

Noor Fatima was diagnosed with cancer when Asif was playing in the 4th season of the PSL with the Islamabad United under the supervision of Coach Dean Jones, a former batsman of Australia.
