Uttar Pradesh: Car Hits Cow, Kills 4 People Onboard And Injures 7  

In Sitapur, 4 people were killed and 7 were injured after a car hit a cow in the area of Hargao on Friday, the car flipped upside down after it hit the cow.

 Madhuvan Kumar Singh the Superintendent of North Police said that the accident happened in the morning on the Sitapur to Lakhimpur road near the village of Badelia.

 Superintendent Madhuvan said that the 11 people inside the car were returning from a wedding.

Superintendent Madhuvan added: “As their car reached Badelia village under Hargaon police station, suddenly a cow jumped in front of it. The driver lost control over the vehicle and it then turned upside down.”

The local people who saw the accident rushed to the scene and helped the people get out of the car.

4 of the people onboard passed away on the scene, 7 are injured, two of the injured have been labeled as critical by the local hospital.

The 4 people who died have been identified as 35-year-old Savitri, 30-year-old Kiran, 15-year-old Neetu, and 14-year-old Mohini.

The 7 people who attained injuries from the accident are currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital of Sitapur.

Superintendent Madhuvan said that the 4 dead bodies have been sent for an autopsy.
