The 6-year-old boy that was thrown from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern Art Gallery in London is now out of danger, said the Met Police.

On August 4, 2019, the 6-year-old boy fallen onto the roof of the 5th floor of the art gallery after he dropped from the viewing platform of the 10th floor.

The 6-year-old boy was rushed to a hospital and was airlifted.

His initial health condition was critical, but, yesterday, the Met Police said that the 6-year-old is no longer in a “life-threatening situation, and is now in a stable condition.

The police have arrested the 17-year-old boy, the primary suspect of the crime, and is arrested for attempted murder.

The police were called in the Tate Modern Art Gallery on Sunday (August 4, 2019) by 2:40 pm after a report said “a young boy thrown from the tenth-floor viewing platform of the Tate Modern in Bankside SE1.”

The police brought in the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

The London Ambulance Service said, “We treated a person at the scene and took them to hospital.”

The 17-year-old boy who allegedly threw the kid stayed on the 10th floor with some people before he was officially arrested by the police on suspicion of attempted murder.

During an interview with the Mirror, an eye-witness said, “I heard the impact and then screaming from above as a woman screamed, ‘He’s my son! He’s my son!’. I went inside because the screaming was horrific, the boy didn’t make any noise but the people from the viewing platform were screaming.”

The witness added, “Inside, after around 10 minutes we were told to leave. They tried to shut down the Tate but one door was left unguarded so we left through that door.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with the 6-year-old boy, we hope you recover fast young man.
