81-Year-Old Italian Man Sings For Sick Wife From Outside Of Hospital To Help Her Feel Better

An 81-year-old man from Italy is currently viral on social media right now after he was recorded serenading his ill wife from outside of their hospital.

Such an amazing thing to watch during times like these!

The video that we are talking about happened in Italy, one of the worst-hit countries in the world during this coronavirus pandemic.

There have been over 1.18 million confirmed cases and the disease has killed over 45,000 people.

Because of this pandemic, hospitals are not allowing visitors to come in to minimize the transmission of the virus.

With this, an elderly man had something in mind.

81-year-old Stefano Bozzini pulled up a stool outside the hospital in Castel San Giovanni, a town in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy because he could not visit his wife.

He ended up playing several songs for his wife Carla Sacchi, his wife of 47 years.

The man started by singing Spanish Eyes by Engelbert Humperdinck, then went on to perform some of his wife’s favorite songs.

Maurizio, the son of Bozzini, caught the entire incident on cam.

In the background, a spectator could be heard saying bravo.

The hospital does not treat patients that have the coronavirus, which means that the wife of Bozzini was brought to a hospital due to other reasons.

According to reports, Bozzini served the country and was part of the Alpine Mountain Infantry.

Bozzini and his wife got married in 1973.

After losing one of their children, the man stopped playing for some time and they said that it took him some time to take the instrument up again and use it.

Thanks to time and recovery from the incident, Bozzini plays at parties, festivals, and retirement homes.

Such an amazing performance!
