The brother of Rakesh Chaudhary, a Congress leader in Muktsar, Punjab, brutally beat a woman with sticks and belts, and dragged her out of her house.

The brother of Rakesh Chaudhary and his companions dragged the woman out of her home in Muktsar and brutally beat her with sticks and belts.

A resident of the area managed to capture a video of the incident.

In the video, you can see the brother of Rakesh Chaudhary beating the woman brutally.

A woman also steps in to help the woman, but instead of stopping, the brother of the Congress leader started to beat her too.

The woman who was brutally beaten up by the brother of Rakesh Chaudhary is currently in a hospital, doctors said that she is in a critical condition.

Manjeet Dhesi, a Senior Superintendent of Police, said, “This is an extremely unfortunate incident. We will push for severe punishment for the accused.”

SSP Manjeet Dhesi added,  “We have arrested 6 ppl and will push for severe punishment. Victim admitted to hospital”

Officer Dhesi also said that they will be taking action against the brother of the leader and the people who were involved in beating the woman.

The police added that they will not allow any political party affect the investigation.
