After becoming the first British couple to give birth to 10 straight boys in a row, Alexis Brett finally broke the curse and gave birth to a baby girl!

After 15 years and 10 sons, the couple finally has a baby daughter together!

Safe to say, the house of Alexis Brett is no longer a man’s house…..

During her interview with The Mail, 39-year-old Alexis said, “We’re over the moon. I’d been expecting to hear we were having another boy but when I found out it was a girl, my face was a picture. I was shocked but delighted. Now she’s here with us, it’s a fantastic feeling.”

Alexis and David decided to name their daughter as Cameron, which is inspired by Cameron Diaz, an actress.

44-year-old David, the dad of Cameron, said, “She’s already having a good influence on the boys. They have generally been much better behaved around her, trying to keep quiet in case they wake her up. They also want to help with holding and feeding her. It’s been great.”

Cameron was born on August 27, 2019.

She now completes the large family which includes the following:

• 17-year-old Campbell
• 16-year-old Harrison
• 14-year-old Corey
• 11-year-old Lachlan
• 9-year-old Brodie
• 8-year-old Brahn
• 6-year-old Hunter
• 5-year-old Mack
• 3-year-old Blake
• 2-year-old Rothagaidh

After 11 babies, Alexis confirmed that they are stopping for sure.

During her interview, she continued, “No more! I remember saying that last time, but this time I absolutely mean it. I love my family as it is now.”

She added, “Of course, we do get comments about the number of children we have. But it doesn’t bother me what people think. We’re well used to it. Some people think we must be on benefits, but we’re not. David has a good job which means we don’t even qualify for full child benefit.”

It was last year when Alexis started to feel like she was pregnant again.

She did a home test, which confirmed that she’s pregnant. The couple decided to go for a gender scan at a private clinic.

Alexis explained how it felt like when the results envelope came in, she said, “When the results came in the post, Harrison opened the envelope because I was too nervous. When we realised it was a girl, we were amazed. It sounds silly because it’s a 50:50 chance, but we were surprised anyway.”

She added, “We’ve been asked a lot whether we’ve had so many children because we were hoping for that elusive girl. But I can honestly answer no. Cameron wasn’t planned, but I was happy all the same, and if another boy had been on the way it wouldn’t have bothered me.”

Alexis is an only child, and she said she never planned to have a large family.

David and Alexis have been living together since 1998 in a detached 5 bedroom house in Dingwall, Ross-shire.

To feed the huge family, David takes 3 massive grocery trips to their local market every week.

The couple said they spend around 300 Pounds each week on food, and this includes 50 pints of milk, 6 liters of fruit squash, 100 packets of crisps, 30 apples, 25 bananas, 2 kilograms of pasta, 2 lubes of toothpaste, 16 loaves of bread, and 9 large boxes of cereal.
