Haryana Woman Registers Rape Complaint Against Photographer In Gurugram
A woman from Haryana registers rape complaint against a photographer who allegedly raped her on the pretext of marriage in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh.
The PRO of the Gurugram Police, Subhash Bokan, said that the special women’s police station in Gurugram registered a zero FIR.
The case of the woman has been transferred to the district where the crime was originally committed.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the woman and Govind, the photographer, met each other 6 months ago.
The investigations revealed that Govind lured the woman for a photo-shoot in Shamli, which is his native village.
Throughout the stay, Govind and the woman managed to establish a relationship.
The woman claims Govind promised her marriage.
Govind allegedly brought her to her house in Shamli and raped her there on different occasions.
The woman decided to report the man after he refused to marry her and after he threatened to upload her illicit images on social media.
The police are currently investigating the case.
