Bihar: The husband of the Village Head at the Uttar Maarar Panchayat was gunned down by 2 men who went inside the house of the man while he was sleeping.

The police have arrested 2 men who are believed to be in connection with the killing of 50-year-old Nandlal Paswan.

Paswan is the husband of Ragini Devi, the head of the Uttar Maarar Panchayat.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the 2 men fired shots at Paswan while he was sleeping inside his home.

The 2 gunners fled the scene after the incident.

Paswan was rushed to the Khagaria Sadar Hospital after he was shot, but the doctors at the hospital said that Paswan was already dead when he arrived at the hospital.

The police are currently considering the case as a personal enmity case.
