Hyderabad: 2 Interns Removed From Government Hospital For Shooting TikTok Videos While On Duty

2 trainee technicians in the physiotherapy department of a government-owned hospital in Hyderabad were removed from their duty after they shot TikTok videos in the lab.

Shyam Milton and Veena Kumari were sacked from their training after the videos they took went viral on the app.

Investigations revealed that the two trainees shot 4 videos in total at the physiotherapy department of the Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad when no patient was in the room.

Dr. Jayakrishna, the Resident Medical Officer of the Gandhi Hospital, confirmed that the two trainees have been removed from the hospital.

He said, “Usually the trainees spend six months at the hospital but these two have been sent back after three months with a letter to their department head in college,”

He added, “As part of disciplinary action after the videos came to the notice of the hospital authorities.”
