Kevin Reese Jr. the 10-year-old boy from Texas who committed suicide after bullies at the Robinson Elementary School told him to “kill yourself”.

Crystal Smith, the mother of Kevin Reese Jr. said that Kevin was a “goofy child” who was bullied in his school.

The mother said that the bullies “wrote on his tablet to ‘Kill yourself, you don’t belong here,’”

She added, “When it got physical back in November, he came home crying because he didn’t fight back and one of the boys punched him several times coming from recess.”

Smith and her son reported the bullying to the officials of the school, but was not given justice as there was no evidence of a “physical fight”.

Crystal Smith said, “They told me they never found any bullying going on.”

On January 21, 10-year-old Kevin and his 13-year-old sister went home by their school bus. At that time the Crystal was not home and was out of town for work and his step-dad was still on his way back home.

Before anyone could get back home, Kevin committed suicide and was found hanging inside his closet.

The 13-year-old sister of Kevin called Crystal and told her about what happened

Crystal said, “She was just screaming on the phone, and I didn’t understand and she screamed, ‘Kevin.'”

Crystal then told her 13-year-old daughter to cut the phone and call 911.

After the death of Kevin, Crystal called the school of her 10-year-old son and told them about what happened, but the school still said that they never found any evidence of bullying.

Crystal is now sending out a message to every parent out there.

During an interview with KTRK, Crystal said, “Pay attention to your child, don’t assume that things are handled at the school, stay on top of it until you see something come out on the end.”
