Man kidnaps relative’s son and sells him for Rs. 20,000 to a couple who have 3 daughters in Shaharanpur
A man was arrested in Shaharanpur, Uttar Pradesh for selling his relative’s son for Rs. 20,000 to a couple who have 3 daughters.
The police said that Praveen, the person who sold the 5-year-old boy, kidnapped him first before selling him.
Luckily, the police were alerted by the parents of the 5-year-old boy and he was rescued just within one hour.
The police recovered Rs. 19,000 from Parveen.
According to Dinesh Kumar, a Senior Superintendent of the Police, Praveen is related to the boy and his parents.
SSP Dinesh Kumar said Renu, the wife of Praveen, and Praveen came to the house of the 5-year-old boy in Saloni Village and kidnapped him.
Officer Kumar added that the incident happened when the parents of Saurabh, the 5-year-old boy, were out for work.
The SSP added that the parents of the boy work as laborers.
Praveen and his wife then sold Saurabh for Rs. 20,000 to a couple who have 3 daughters.
Praveen has also confessed the crime to the police.
The couple who wanted to buy Saurabh managed to run away.
