Rape: A man in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh raped an 11-year-old and killed her by crushing her head with bricks, the horrific crime happened on June 21, 2019, under the jurisdiction of the Safipur Police Circle.

The minor was sleeping outside her home on June 21 when her father realized that she was missing.

The father of the 11-year-old girl said that he woke up in the middle of the night and saw that his daughter was missing, initially he thought that she went to the open fields to go to the toilet, but when she did not return, the father, relatives, and neighbors searched for the 11-year-old girl.

The father found the dead body of his daughter lying in an orchard, he added that her head was crushed with bricks.

MP Verma, the Superintendent of the Unnao Police Station said that they have registered a rape and murder case under the POCSO Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The father added that his daughter was naked and had injury marks around her neck, body, and her private parts.

Officer Verma added that a team has been formed so they could arrest the suspect.

The body of the 11-year-old girl has been sent for an autopsy.
