On June 23, 2019, the Delhi Police arrested 30-year-old Vishal Singh for brutally stabbing a blind music teacher and his wife in Mohan Garden, Dwarka.

Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that Vishal decided to stab the music teacher and his wife after they rejected his marriage proposal to marry their daughter.

30-year-old Vishal Singh is originally from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, he lived with the Blind Music Teacher and his family for over a year and was considered as a “family member”.

Singh was working with “PayTM”, and is an MBA Graduate.

During the press release, the Delhi Police said that Vishal confessed his crime.

Vishal admitted that he wanted to marry the daughter of the music teacher, but his marriage proposal was rejected by the couple after they found out that he was already married.

On June 22, 2019, 51-year-old Hari Ballabh and 47-year-old Shanti Singh, were found dead inside their home in Mohan Garden.

The police also recovered the knife that Singh used for the gruesome murder, the Rs. 140,500 he stole, and his clothes that had blood stains.

Santosh Rai was also arrested by the police. Vishal Singh gave his clothes to him so he could dispose them.

The Blind Music Teacher was working at a private school in Kanjhwala and the wife of the teacher was a housewife.

The 27-year-old daughter found their dead bodies with stab wounds inside their house in Mohan Garden on June 22, 2019 evening.

The Delhi Police said that they are currently considering the crime as a “personal enmity” case.
