On early Saturday morning, a husband from Patna found his wife and 23-year-old daughter dead inside their home with their throats slit with a sharp object.

Rishi, the son of the victim, came home on Saturday morning when he saw 45-year-old Seema Devi and 23-year-old sister dead inside two rooms in their house.

Investigating officers said that Seema Devi and her 23-year-old daughter, whose name was not shared with the press, had their throats slit.

Rishi found about the death of his mother and sister when he came home from work in Ranchi.

After he saw the bodies of Seema Devi, his mother, and his 23-year-old sister, he informed the police right away.

Abhinav Kumar, the Superintendent of Police in Patna, said that they have launched a case for the incident.

Superintendent Kumar added that they are currently checking the CCTV that are installed in the area.
