Scary Video Shows Wheel Falling Off An Air Canada Plane During Takeoff
An Air Canada Express flight lost a wheel a couple of seconds after it took off the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.
After the wheel fell off, the place was forced to turn back, avoiding serious casualties and plane damages.
According to CNN, Flight 8684 was heading to Bagotville, which is 230 miles away from Montreal, on Friday when the plane lost its wheel.
A passenger of the flight captured the wheel detaching from the plane’s left main landing gear.
The passenger shared the video on social media, making the video viral.
The passenger shared the video along with a caption: “I’m currently on a plane that just lost a wheel. 2020 starting off well.”

Pilots were able to turn the Dash 8-300 plane to the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and land it safely.
Manon Stuart, a spokesperson for the Jazz Aviation, the operator of the flight, released a statement about the incident.
Manon said, “The experienced pilots maintained complete control of the aircraft.”
Manon added, “Our pilots are well trained to deal with such situations and responded according to our standard operating procedures.”
Emergency vehicles were called at the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport as an extra precautionary measure, considering the fact that the plane didn’t have one of its main landing gear.
Stuart added, “Our maintenance personnel in Montreal are conducting a thorough inspection of the aircraft to determine the cause and proceed with the necessary repairs.”
No one was injured in the incident.
