Basti, Uttar Pradesh: 4 are currently being hunted by the police after they allegedly raped a grade 12 Dalit student in the district and for taking illicit videos of her during the crime.

The relatives of the grade 12 student, whose identity has not been revealed, registered a complaint to the police.

Investigations revealed that the student was raped by 2 men, then a person, and another person who took a video of the crime.

Pankaj Kumar, the Superintendent of the Basti Police, said that the student will undergo a medical examination that will confirm that she was raped.

Officer Kumar added that an FIR against the four people has been lodged under the Indian Penal Code and the SC/ST Act.

The police are currently looking for the 4 men who raped the grade 12 Dalit student.
