Yellowstone National Park: 9-Year-Old Girl Tossed Into Air By Charging Bison

Yellowstone National Park: A 9-year-old girl was rushed to a hospital after she was tossed into the air by a charging bison.

The 9-year-old girl, whose identity has not been revealed, was thrown into the air after the giant charging bison ran into her.

The incident happened at the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA.

In the video above, you can see other people running away after they saw the bison charging, but the poor girl was left alone and became a target for the Bison.

The entire incident was caught on cam by Hailey Dayton, an 18-year-old teen who was visiting the park with her relatives.

During an interview with the NBC News, Hailey said, “My brother and I were looking at the hot springs, and we saw a bunch of people running down the path to the bridge. We saw through the trees some people petting the bison, super close.”

She added, “Because it was agitated by all the people and noise, it just kind of attack. After that, everyone was screaming. There were a bunch of kids crying.”

The Yellowstone National Park said that the group stood close to the Bison for nearly 20 minutes and cause it to charge.

The statement that was released by the Yellowstone National Park said that the 9-year-old girl was “assessed and treated by a park emergency medical providers, and later taken to and released from the Old Faithful Clinic.”
