YouTuber Mr. Beast Donates Over $1 Million Worth Of Food To Food Banks

Mr. Beast, a generous YouTuber, has donated food worth over $1 million USD to food banks that have been facing shortages during the coronavirus pandemic.

As everyone in the world is panicking to buy food amidst the coronavirus, the kind YouTuber decided to help a number of food banks.

Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, shared a 12-minute video on YouTube where he could be seen delivering a lot of food to the foodbanks.

Jimmy filled 6 Smithfield trucks with palettes of food so he could donate them in 6 massive food banks in North Carolina.

The video, which was shared on March 27, 2020, Jimmy and his friends can be seen loading and unloading a number of food palettes.

At the beginning of the video, Mr. Beast said, “Due to recent events, lots of people have started to hoard food, and when you hoard food, you donate less.”

Because of the pandemic, foodbanks are facing huge shortages due to a lot of people hoarding foods even if they don’t need to.

After delivering all the food to the food banks, Jimmy had a small chat with Jonathan, the program manager of Smithfield.

As they talked, Jonathan and Jimmy urged viewers to donate to feeding America’s Response Fund, which can be accessed by clicking here.

Smithfield has pledged to donate a serving of protein to food banks in exchange for every $ that is donated to the fund.

Jimmy, who is also known as Mr. Beast, has over 33 million subscribers on YouTube, so if everyone donated $1 USD, it is possible that 33 million servings of protein could be served in food banks.

Such a classic act by the King of YouTube.
