30-Year-Old Woman Slit Boyfriend’s Throat, Drank Tea Beside Dead Body, And Slept With The Corpse

A 30-year-old woman reportedly slashed her boyfriend’s throat, slept with his corpse, and drank tea at the crime scene.

30-year-old Averil Beliveau, was arrested by the Vermont State Police for the death of 45-year-old Cameron Faling.

Authorities have confirmed that the death of Faling was caused by the wounds on his neck.

According to court documents, officers discovered a horrific, blood-soaked scene in Bolton, after they were called to the apartment of the couple.

The police said that Averil cut her boyfriend’s throat on Thursday but waited 2 days before she called the authorities.

According to WCAX, the woman left her boyfriend’s body in the flat and went on to visit her parent’s house in Jericho.

When she was at her parent’s house, she changed her clothes.

The 30-year-old then returned to the apartment, slept in the same room where the dead body of Faling was, and drank a cup of tea near his dead body.

According to the statement of Averil, the homicide occurred on Thursday evening around 9 pm.

According to the police, the woman believes that Faling was already dead by 11 pm.

Chittenden County State’s Attorney Sarah George said, “She called police Saturday morning, around 7 am.”

Averil called 911 and said that she had acted in self-defense when she slit the neck of Faling inside there house.

She explained to them that she and Faling always argued about cleaning the house.

Also, her boyfriend reportedly refused to help her buy “pot”, which is another term for marijuana.

Attorney George said that the evidence does not reflect comments about self-defense.

Investigators found that Faling was the only one with the defensive wounds.

During the police investigation, Beliveau admitted to approaching Faling while clutching the knife behind her back.

The 30-year-old woman reportedly bought the weapon weeks earlier.

Cops said that Averil admitted that she cut the throat of her boyfriend.

Averil pleaded not guilty to his murder at an initial court hearing.

She is currently being held in jail without bail.

The attorney of the 30-year-old girl did not respond to a request to comment.
