After the recent attack on Sanjay Leela Bhansali by the Karni Sena for distorting facts about Rani Padmavati, Bollywood is standing united in support of each other. Bollywood came together and expressed their support for Bhansali on Twitter.

After the director was slapped in Jaipur by members of the Rajput Karni Sena (they believe the film depicts Queen Padmavati in a negative light), the crew packed off from Rajasthan while the cast issued a statement. Deepika Padukone, who plays Queen Padmavati in the film tweeted about the incident and got a warning in return.

One user broke all limits of modesty and decency and went on to abuse and troll Deepika Padukone for her tweet.

Meanwhile, the Padmavati shoot has been cancelled and the unit has returned to Mumbai. It is unclear where the crew will be shooting for the film that is set to release in November 2017.
