Sushant Singh Rajput Trolled For Dropping And Putting Back His Surname

Life as we know it is unpredictable, but one thing is fairly certain. If you are on Twitter and have an opinion, you will be trolled. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has received widespread support from Bollywood ever since members of Karni Sena attacked the set of his upcoming film Padmavati and manhandled the filmmaker.

Sushant Singh Rajput removed his surname from his Twitter handle to show his support with Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali but the reel Dhoni added it to his Twitter handle again. Thereby, the star gave a golden opportunity to troll him on Twitter.

Sushant Singh Rajput Trolled For Dropping His Surname:

The MS Dhoni biopic star took his surname ‘Rajput’ off his Twitter profile, expressing solidarity with the director. Sushant tweeted, “We would suffer till the time we’re obsessed with our surnames. If you’re that courageous, give us your first name to acknowledge. #padmavati.”

Sushant also urged people to drop their obsession with caste discrimination.

He dropped the ‘Rajput’ off his name for a day, thereafter. But, this morning it was back on.

In no time, he was trolled for this act, to which Sushant again reacted aggressively. Have a look at some of the twitter reactions.

However Sushant replied to some trolls and finally shuts their mouth with his aggressive tweets.

In a recent interview the actor said: “Yes, I did it for a day to show that the unfortunate action is not what everyone with that surname endorses. They do not represent the entire Rajputs. There are ways to express your ideas, but violence is never an answer, and that too just on mere speculation. I am not changing my name that was a way to express that I don’t endorse the view of a particular group which claims to be the representative of entire Rajputs and probably India.”

Is it a SIX or BOWLED? We would love to hear from you. Do share your views about the incident in the comment session below.
