Twitterati Slams Shah Rukh Khan For Getting Bullied By Raj Thackeray Over Raees Promotions
Well, all’s not well with Shah Rukh Khan‘s much-awaited release of next year. While there are tons of people who went gaga over the Raees trailer, there were quite a few who took offense to it. SRK has been trying his best to release the film without any hassle.
He recently met up with MNS Chief Raj Thackeray to make sure that the film releases without any political tension or pressure but it only resulted in him facing a backlash from the Twitterati.
According to the reports, Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has promised Raj Thackeray that Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan, who is also his leading actress will not take part in any promotional events for the film or come down to India for the same. He has also promised the politician that he will never work with any Pakistani actors henceforth.
“There was news in the media for past one week that SRK is going to get Mahira Khan to India for film promotions. So he came here to meet Raj saheb to tell that Mahira Khan is not coming to India for any kind of film promotion and he will also not cast any Pakistani artistes in future,” said Amey Khopkar, an MNS member.
But, ever since fans found out about his meeting with Raj Thackeray, there have been series of tweets slamming the actor for not standing up against the demands of the politician. He is being made fun of and reprimanded for not standing up to the bullying.
