Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) was founded on 4th December 1957. RBSE is the Government Board of Rajasthan School Education. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is hoping that students exceed their preceding year performance with Rajasthan Board Result 2016. Around 1081724 students registered for the Rajasthan secondary board examination including 632907 boys and 448817 girls. Of the total registered, candidates 1051105 candidates’ appeared with 440337 of them were girl candidates and 464331 were boys.

The topper of Rajasthan board Ms.Tanisha Vijay of Mahaveer Public Sec School, Khandar (Sawai Madhopur) scored a near perfect 99.17 cumulative percent. Girls this time were unable to surpass boys and were able to score a pass percentage of 75.70 percent and though not by great margin, boys fared better than the girls with a 76.02 percent.
