Dawood Ibrahim Aide Riyaz Bhati Arrested For Forging Documents To Get Membership Of Mumbai Cricket Association

Officials confirm that the alleged aide of Dawood Ibrahim, a fugitive gangster, Riyaz Bhati has been arrested by the police after he tried to forge documents in order to attain membership of the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Riyaz Bhati, who is currently 52-years-old, allegedly forged documents in order to attain membership of the Mumbai Cricket Association Club.

The MCA is club is located in Bandra-Kurla Complex, and officials said that Riyaz became a member of the said club in 2013.

The college administration found out recently that Riyaz Bhati used forged documents that had fake seals and fake stamps of the college.

The administration then approached the police and registered a complaint against him.

A team of the Anti-Extortion Cell arrested Riyaz Bhati on Monday evening.

Reports suggest that Riyaz was arrested from his house in Versova.

A local court has remanded Riyaz Bhati in police custody until 5th of July, 2019.

Further investigation for the said case has started.
