A woman in Australia shared an amazing picture that showed a firefighter pulling a group of koalas out from the massive bushfires at the Cudlee Creek, which is near Adelaide, South Africa.

The woman shared a picture of Adam, a firefighter, saving a group of koalas from the raging bushfires in Cudlee Creek.

Janelle Michalowski, shared the picture on social media.

Janelle said, “Amazing work by a man named Adam and his mates who pulled these guys out of harm’s way at Cudlee Creek and into safety!”

Janelle added, “Koala Rescue are all over it. Well done fellow South Australians. Fantastic job!”

The image went viral right away and gathered over 32,000 shares and over 17,000 likes.

Bushfires in Australia are continuously destroying hundreds of thousands of land in various parts of the country.

New South Wales has been the most affected one. NSW has been almost completely burned to the ground.

Koalas are one of the most affected species of animals.

It is believed that over 2000 koalas have been killed by the massive bushfires in Australia.

The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital released a statement on Instagram.

The statement said, “After searching for a month through burnt koala habitat in different regions, the devastation that everyone is talking about really rings true.”

The statement added, “The amount of habitat and biodiversity displaced and lost in these fire events is staggering. Please support your local wildlife by placing fresh water out for them, retaining their trees and other habitat, watching out for them on the roads and protecting them from your pets.”

Fires in New South Wales have burned through at least 2.7 million hectares of land this year alone.

The massive bushfires have also destroyed over 700 houses.

8 people, which includes 2 volunteer firefighters, have also died trying to put down the massive bushfires.
