A couple from North Carolina placed a frozen pizza into the oven to heat it up only to find out that a snake was burning with the pizza for 10 minutes.

Baked pizza anyone?

Amber Helm, who lives in Wake Forrest, said she and her family wanted to have an easy dinner on Monday evening when she realized something was wrong.

After placing the frozen pizza in the oven, the oven started to release smoke and it started to emit bad smell.

As Amber opened the oven, she was shocked.

Amber said, “I opened up the oven and thought ‘is that part of the oven?’ I looked more closely and it was a snake.”

Amber left the snake and the pizza in the oven and brought her kids to a place outside so they can eat dinner.

Robert Helm, the husband of Amber, was left alone to deal with the snake and the pizza.

Robert said, “I put the oven on self-clean after I pulled that crispy critter out.”

Robert claims the snake was around 18-inches long and had a diameter of a quarter.

With those numbers, we can easily say the snake was still in its young years.

The couple said they baked ham for Christmas, and they didn’t have a snake inside the oven at that time.

The couple is now worried about how the snake got inside their house, especially because they have 2 kids.

Amber said, “I have two little boys so I’m just so concerned.”

She added, “Every time I see a shadow I’m like freaking out.”
