Warren Buffet Finally Ditches Flip-Phone And Switches To iPhone 11
Warren Buffet, the fourth-wealthiest person in the world, has finally given up his old Samsung flip-phone and has bought the new iPhone 11.
During a recent interview with CNBC, the billionaire revealed that he has switched to the new smartphones.
He also talked about smartphones and how important of a consumer product they have become.
Warren Buffet owns 5.6 percent of Apple.
He parted ways with his Samsung SCH-U320 flip-phone, which he was seen using last year.
During the interview with CNBC, he said, “My flip phone has permanently gone.”
He added, “I’m glad you brought that up, I have got a new smartphone.”
Buffet, despite the huge switch, said he is only using his smartphone for basic calling.
He also mentioned during the interview that Tim Cook, the Chief Executive Officer of Apple, has given him a number of smartphones.
It looks like Tim has been on a mission to help Warren get a new phone eh.
Recently, Cook said that he would personally fly out to visit Mr. Buffet if he needed tech support in using a smartphone.
The Verge further reported that Buffet already uses an iPad for research and stock trading.
